I, Samantha Lynn Payne, woke up at 5:30!

Ladies and Gentlemen, I AM UP! It is now 6:35am, and suprisingly I feel like I'm here on Earth. This early morning business may not be so bad afterall (until I fall asleep at the computer later on, until I want to keel over and die, until I hate light and all early creatures). I listened to music ALL night until I fell asleep for what seemed like a wink. Then I had to go wake up Colleen who seemingly hadn't slept much either. I think we're both in shock. Something has got to be wrong if I'm up and not wanting to hurt every living creature that crosses my path, but something is REALLY not right in the world if Colleen is up.

So, Colleen is a total cripple right now and I just had to help her put her underwear on and last night I had to bathe her. (I know what you're thinking....) Okay, I didn't really bathe her, I just turned the water on and put the bubble bath stuff in. Actually, though she's in pain because she pulled a couple muscles in her back last night before driving over, yes driving over on heavy doses of painkillers. Fun fun fun. She told me she had a 'little conversation with God' before the drive over about making it without driving into a ditch. I kept her busy on the phone for a while and she made it, but I don't know how she's going to fly across the country today hardly able to pick anything up.

No, this morning business isn't so terrible at all! What are you early morning drivers so crabby about???? Okay, now I'm just being mean. I do sympathize. But I've to go to the airport now. Ask me how I like it in an hour!
